Well, here's the thing ... Every time I look at ye ol' archives, it amazes me how unreal I sound in some of the posts. I think I tended to make things very ... writerly ... unintentionally. Maybe that's still the case, I don't know. But I think I prefer these posts to seem more natural now. Like I'm having a conversion with you. A very random, distracted conversation. Over instant message.

Question of the Day

Why is it so easy for me to dislike people?

Hey now.

1) I'm much less angry when I have less work to do. Stress brings out the fury in me, and it is not pretty. The last two months have been most stress-free in a long while. Cheers.

2) Despite being a shareholder of Sirius satellite radio since like 2006 (which is pretty sad if you know the history of the stock), I have never been a subscriber ... until now. Finally caved, signed up, and it is awesome.

3) Starting right now, I'm trying as hard as I can to save money for the next few months, which means not buying all the gadgets I want, like wifi security cameras, new monitors, internet radio players and other junk I don't need.

4) Who wants to start a vineyard with me?

Another weekend complete.

Booked two vacations in the past two days, including one to Vegas. Only problem is they're both more than four months away.

I wish there were an easy way to merge or forward tweets into my blog entries. There probably is, but I'm just too lazy to look for it.

Now that I've actually posted for the first time in ages, it has struck me how behind-the-times Blogger is. No Android app? No 1-click photo sharing from my phone? This thing is a dinosaur!

P.S.

I occasionally get excited about the thought of making this blog good again (or for the first time ever, depending on how you look at it). Then it's morning and I have to work. Work ruins everything.

I don't like chips.
